This is from the 2:05 TPC discussion:
A VERY ACTIVE/STORY PATTERN HAS TAKEN SHAPE OVER THE W ATLC
COURTESY OF A LARGE MID/UPPER LOW WHICH PINCHED OFF FROM THE
MID-OCEANIC TROUGH AND IS NOW CENTERED E OF THE BAHAMAS NEAR
24N73W. BROAD DIVERGENCE E OF THE UPPER LOW IS PRODUCING A
LARGE AREA OF SCATTERED MODERATE AND ISOLATED STRONG CONVECTION
NE OF THE BAHAMAS FROM 20N-30N BETWEEN 64W-72W. LATEST
OBSERVATIONS AND SATELLITE IMAGERY INDICATES THAT A BROAD LOW
LEVEL TROUGH HAS FORMED WITHIN THIS AREA EXTENDING FROM THE E
TIP OF CUBA NEWD TO 30N65W. GIVEN THE CLOSE PROXIMITY OF THIS
FEATURE WITH THE UPPER TROUGH...SHEAR IS CURRENTLY AFFECTING THE
SYSTEM RESTRICTING DEVELOPMENT. HOWEVER...A MID/UPPER LEVEL
RIDGE IS BUILDING TO THE EAST AND CONDITIONS MAY BECOME MORE
FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT DAY OR SO AS THE UPPER
LOW MOVES WESTWARD TOWARD FLORIDA.
