http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/ahead/ENSO-summary.shtml

The latest july update just released says NEUTRAL once again as no changes are seen in the equatorial pacific so no el nino thru this 2004 season.Other factors are to blame for the Atlantic Basin to be quiet.

Other factors, and those would all fall under one big word...CLIMATOLOGY.

Bumping this thread as it came down in a hurry and it is important for all to see why el nino wont make an appeareance this 2004 hurricane season.
