That might not last long though if we're transferring from the mid levels down to the surface like we maybe seeing now. I wouldn't be surprised if a STDS goes out as early as late afternoon. It's looking the best it's looked so far and with the convection increasing in the tropics typically later at night, this one will need to be watched. Water temps are at 80 or higher across 99.9% of the gulf of mexico.
