I survived Hurricane Bertha, Fran, Bonnie, Floyd, and Isabel. Every storm gave us hurricane force winds except Isabel(64 mph wind gust was the strongest she gave us)
Heh, I don't know about you but i think we are going to have our 6th maybe even 7th this hurricane season...
I have been in Tropical Storm Alberto, Hurricane Erin, Hurricane Opal, Hurricane Earl, Hurricane Georges, Tropical Storm Isidore, Tropical Storm Barry, Tropical Storm Hanna, Tropical Storm Helene, and Tropical Storm Bill.
Opal was the worst of them all, i lost my home in that one
I drove through the edge of Georges, got tickled by Fay, ruffled by Claudette, and nearly drowned by Allison.
Do you all consider only those where a storm makes landfall as being "in" it, or is it anyone within the range of wind and rainbands considered to have been in that particular storm?
I am extremely lucky. I have been through only two tropical storms: Floyd and Bertha. Other storms have brought some wind and waves, like Isabel, but none others have passed really near us.
