IS THE SHEAR DECREASING?

#1 Postby HURAKAN » Sun May 23, 2004 11:21 am

Has anyone notice if the shear has been decreasing since the last days? Or it's now stronger?

The eastern Carib. has seen a decrease in shear... the central and western Carib. appear to be pretty much unchanged although latest trends show lessening of shear in the western Carib.

The disturbance is lifting north into the subtropical jet, the same feature causing the shear.
