Caribbean Low last hope, interaction

#1 Postby HURAKAN » Fri May 21, 2004 4:39 pm

A tropical wave south of 16N and 55W is moving toward the Eastern Caribbean. I think an interaction between the weak low and the tropical wave may give the low a new hope for development although shear continues to be a major factor. Also, it's interesting to see that tropical waves are already making their entrance into picture. I think we will see a very active "Cape Verde Season".

I hope something happens soon. I say if this system doesnt develop by this weekend or the beginning of next week, we can just throw it away and wait for another one.
