After a few days without almost any clouds inside the African continent there are big areas of convection that are poised to emerge the west african coast but being may those convective areas wont be of a long duration as the enviroment at the east atlantic right now is too hostile with strong subsidence east of 30w,the ITCZ way down in latitud over the ocean(Around 3n in parts of the tropical atlantic) and a jet stream of 80-100kts covering the tropical atlantic but of course when late july and especially august arrives things will change out there but in the meantime we will see these bombs come out of Africa and let's see which of them will gain organization in the peak of the CV season.

Yep the SAL factor will once again be an important factor to see how those waves can survive and then we will see how the Cape Verde season will be in terms of activity.
