Whoa! I can't believe that happened this year, and no one knew of it! I hope they found out how this storm formed. Maybe we'll finally know why storms form everywhere else but the South Atlantic. Hopefully some research will be put into this storm. I am curious of how it formed. Maybe with the new global pattern of hurricanes, storms will form there... Mabe not. Still, great find.

Hopefully sometime over the weekend sometime (big maybe) I'll post more information on this storm - it was quite interesting to say the least.

Since the whole thing went unnoticed I don't know what to think but whoa ... I'm wondering though, especially since it's close proximaty to the South American Coast might lead me to believe that it MIGHT have been a large MCS that may have exited the coast. However, the look of the satellite imagery is quite impressive for the South Atlantic ... (which if confirmed, would be quite an odd occurrence within a year's time starting with Ana last April, AND the TWO December TC's to round out the N. Atl. Season)...
