But it's not going to make it any farther (in intensity). Also, I should have previously gone with my initial thoughts of a faster moving storm, since that's what the situation is now.

Recon is finding only 37kt FL winds now, that's about 25-30 kts at the surface. That seems about right for this storm tonight. Maybe a few tiny patches of TS-force winds in some of the heavier squalls northeast of the center. Wind shear is increasing.

I saw that 37kt report right after I finished writing the forecast, so I didn't change the 45kts initial intensity (which is mostly likely WAY high), but Odette is definitely looking rough this evening.
