Shear is light currently over the depression's area, and will likely remain so, until the system moves into the Atlantic. Expect a quickly moving storm as it becomes caught up in the trough stretching across S FL to take this to the northeast as soon as if not before it reaches the Atlantic. This morning's 7AM QuikSCAT showed some 40kt winds northeast of the center. The center is fairly well organized, and we should see some steady intensification for about 24 hours, but I would guess a 50kt storm tops currently, as it becomes caught in the trough becomes extratropical. Satellite images are impressive--for a tropical depression; center of circulation is fairly tight, although maybe elongated north-south a little. Forecast 1 at 4:30PM.
