Lot's o' deep convection around tonight...but it's hard (for me at least) to nail down a good center. The 12Z GFS develops a large general area of low perssure but never really closes of a true center at the surface. I wonder if this will end up as a broad messy low with a lot of rain and not ever fully close off.
The most recent Reynolds SST analysis from the TPC shows that water temps are just hanging on around 28c and are probably a little cooler than that now. That...and the fact that whatever comes up will have to deal with increasingly hostile upper winds and dryer air...lends me to believe that we won't see more than a depression...but lots of rain is heading for somebody in the Caribbean. My guess is that you get some of it...

Convection continues to increase and although impossible to pinpoint any LLC tonight, there's evidence of cyclonic turning within the thunderstorm activity ongoing tonight down there ...
