This is a weather forum to discuss just that. We love weather nobody said anything about wanting a catastrophe to happen. You’re on this site reading this exact thread because you too like tropical weather don’t judge.

I can assure you that I don't like TROPICAL WEATHER. I come to this site for the purpose of getting the latest storm info.

I believe you’re in the wrong thread then.

I'll make a bold prediction, it'll be the area in the Carribean the GFS is hinting at that may form soon. Whether it takes a Eta/Iota track or makes it into the Gulf I won't speculate on.

That seems to be the logical area for that to occur...given the activity thus far in the NW Carribean....coupled with the fact that the long range models yall are discussing on the outlook thread....it seems reasonable to me....but I cannot venture a guess beyond that....

Storm2k is a site where mets and other people who are interested and fascinated by extreme tropical weather gather and discuss their thoughts. Nobody here is wishing for a disaster, and if anybody remotely were to do something like that then I'm sure that the mods (who are very direct with what is acceptable and unacceptable here) would zap their posts. If you want info from a source on latest storm info, just go to the NHC or your local meteorologist for that (hence my signature down below).

Unless explicitly stated, all info in my posts is based on my own opinions and observations. Tropical storms and hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Do not think you can beat Mother Nature. Refer to an accredited weather research agency or meteorologist if you need to make serious decisions regarding an approaching storm.

With Rafael reaching MH status on 11/6, Nov 5-15 takes this poll! However, no one guessed correctly.
