Western carribean-impressive tonight

#1 Postby Vortex » Wed Nov 05, 2003 9:35 pm

Satellite imagery this evening is quite impresive over the NW carribean. Deep convection and little or no shear. If this were October I'd have a close eye on this one. I do not believe any models pick up on any development....Nonetheless very impressive.

Still something watch and of course tropical development can and does occur in November.

Also, upper level wind shear is actually quite low for [early] November.
