Doesn't it have to become a "no name" before we start jumping on it.

Invest was before no name I thought

Thanks for the map Scott. I expect it will change rather dramatically in the next couple of days if development occurs, and shift a bit more to the SW.

Invests are done at the purview of the Navy. NoName is typically displayed when a name is eminent.

I run tropicals whenever available but only ingest and run Globals when there's an Invest or anything near CONUS.

Latest SSMI passes would indicate the possibility of a straight upgrade to subtropical storm status as there are some 40 kt winds ... however, I don't know if there contaminated ...
