That is from early this morning as you can see at the bottom right of the pic it says 10:15 which is 6:15 AM EST.

"Created at 1942 UTC" on top of the image if it was at 1015 as you say?

I meant "new" as compared to yesterday's QScat. It's new to the board, as well.

Yes, hial. It says 1015 or 1016 in purple, lower right hand corner.

I don't remember at this time. It has been posted here before and will soon enough, I am sure. I know that the "purple time" is the last updated image.

Hial the quikScat pass at this image was at 10:15 UTC and there haved been worse passes and images posted as long as 24 hours of difference sometimes.

The time on top of the page is when the HTML coding was updated on the page. The purple times below each QuickSCAT image are when the actual image was last updated. The images can be up to 24-28 hours old.

Looks like a typical cold-core low. Only 10-15 kts in the south half where there is no gradient, and 30-40 kts to the north.
