I had one that was given to me from the former director at CHS WFO many years back. But I can't find it now.

Have you done a web search on this?

I have one kinda:

International Marine's Weather Prediction Simplified
By: Michael William Carr
ISBN: 0-07-012031-5

It is about Forecasting for mariners but covers Tropical Topics thoroughly along with reading and understanding charts, sat, deciphering weather briefs, and keys on developments of tropical and other marine weather systems. It has taught me quite a lot about the Tropics and other weather systems.

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.

Bob Sheets was a former director of the NHC and a good forecaster. Check that book out IMHO.

That's an excellent book. Bob was sitting right next to our boot at the last National Hurricane Conference in New Orleans. I bought a copy from him for $10 and he autographed it.
