QuikScat with wave south of the Cape Verde Islands

Showing a broad closed circulation south of the Cape Verde Islands around 8ºN. While convection area remains spotty and not very likely for development out there this time of year, it's just something to note.

This could be what the 12Z GFS and NOGAPS are showing as a TS near 12N/40W at 144 hours.
