Contrary from JB'S position that Puerto Rico will get between 10-15 inches of rain as this strong wave passes the NWS in San Juan says in a great discussion that we will get moderate amounts of rain but the Virgin islands will get more but that all depends on how fast the system moves but no development from it as long the upper low is in front of it.However Puerto Rico may have localized flooding in portions of the island but it wont be a Hortense 1996 rain event nor the april 2003 massive flooding events.

Well msbee the wave has a big amplitude axis and that is why it has a large area of scattered showers and some thunderstorms. There will be some rain for that beautiful island but nothing that may cause massive floods in the islands nor in Puerto Rico.

Great that you liked old San Juan but the next time that you may come tell me to then meet you .
Also the next time tha you may come be here for more days and you will see more beautiful things that PR has to offer to the tourists. For example you have to go to el yunque rain forest,to the biggest shopping mall in the carbbean Plaza Las Americas and many more sites including the many beaches that this island has.
