When and where will next system form?
Will the rest of october and november see other tropical systems form after Kate and Larry are gone? Some models haved been hinting for days at something in the western caribbean for this week but I dont see nothing out there that may form anytime soon in that area. But let's wait and see if this 2003 season is over or some more developments may form during the rest of the season that has been active with 17 TD'S,12 named storms,6 hurricanes and 3 major canes.

I believe that we will see tropical cyclonegensis take place in the Atlantic Basin in the more climatological favorable western Caribbean Sea.
At midnight Eastern, this upcoming Sunday, October 12th, the 2003 Hurricane Season will have 50 days left.
Water temperature will remain warm enough for the next eight weeks to see a couple more tropical storms and/or hurricane.

I'd look for development from the disturbance near 10N 80W if it can persist... cloud tops have been warming lately though.

Let's see what this week brings in terms of anything that might have a chance to develop in the western caribbean.
