One of the Houston mets (whoever it was that came on after ER...still recovering from my cold so I don't remember who...is that bug going around or what?) said Larry was going anywhere from Veracruz to the Yucatan...all southerly, all Mexico. Nothing about Florida.
Like I said yesterday or was it Tuesday? -- Been sick, haven't caught up, haven't really figured out where or what everyone thinks Larry is doing. But based on what the met said tonight and now what I've read from Perry, I don't think it's all that bold. Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
Perry, you're staying here because the Gators haven't played the Dawgs yet. You understand?
I gotta get some sleep. Gonna head back to work tomorrow.
Larry should make the connection with the next trough

I'm still leaning to something getting sucked out of Larry and getting pulled into circulation NOGAPS is developing in the western Caribbean. Seems the Canadian is showing something like this, and the GFS and UKMET as well. THey show low pressure in some from or another developing on the Eastern side of the Yucatan as Larry diminishes into the southern BOC.

What happened with the connection you said John was going to move Larry towards the US?

If your asking in a professional manor than I will respond in such way, however I do feel your response is a bit on the sarcasm side, not very professional IMO. But the case is not as clear as you would have suggested day's ago. I don't just take Guidance and run with it, I tend to look at other options, options that don't appear as visual to others. But to answer your question, to me it appears that the High to the Southeast is eroding, had this not been the case and the High to the Northwest Eroded first than yes Larry would have been making a Trip to the US no doubt. The case is still not as clear as you may think, I do not feel Larry is not likely to land fall in a due South manor, he is still more likely to do that East of the Official track.

Luis wasn't being sarchastic, just asking a simple question....he's a very nice gentleman.
I can tell you why Luis....because the trough that John believed would capture TS Larry actually is assisting in driving the storm southward into Mexico. The high pressure is simply too strong....and is slowly forcing Larry slowly but surely into the Mexican coast....as the guidance indicated.

I was simply asking a question about the treat to the US that he was mentioning earlier in the week that now looks 0%.This time around the synoptic pattern was not favorable for a US threat from the moment Larry was born a few days ago and that trough will come down but as Larry is way too far south it wont grab him northward.
