GFS!!!

#1 Postby Guest » Fri Oct 03, 2003 7:10 am

384 hours of a strong cyclone in the BOC. I don't think that will happen, but waters are warm, it's core is organizing, so we have to watch this. I think a burst and continuity of deep convection will bring this to a category 1 hurricane.

I haven't thought that is out of the question, and it would help my forecasted preseason numbers(which mean nothing except thay are numbers). But I must say I am now starting to wonder. Larry has been so disorganized during his lifetime and still seems that way. Another weirdo for the weirdest sesaon in a long time!!

THe GFS solution won't happen. Roxanne in 1995 tried it and committed hurricide ;) The upwelling would kill him. He's got about a week or so and then it will be lights out.

Love that term - hurricide! No wonder I keep coming back to this board - not only is it informative and friendly, but often extremely funny too! 8-)
