PERTINENT PREDICTION FROM NHC 8 P.M. DISC....

#1 Postby dixiebreeze » Sun Sep 28, 2003 7:09 pm

Excerpt:

EASTERN UNITED STATES TROUGH IS DIGGING THROUGH THE GREAT LAKES
AND HAS PUSHED A COLD FRONT INTO THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO
WITH MUCH DRIER AIR OVER THE SE USA. HOWEVER THIS FRONT LOOKS
CERTAIN TO STALL FOR A WHILE AS THE TROUGH SLIDES EASTWARD...
ALLOWING AN UPPER HIGH OVER THE NW CARIBBEAN AND SW GULF TO
BUILD SLIGHTLY. THIS WOULD PROVIDE A FAVORABLE UPPER
ENVIRONMENT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE NW CARIBBEAN SYSTEM IF
COMPUTER MODELS ARE CORRECT. THE SW GULF APPEARS TO BE THE
PLACE TO WATCH FOR TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION THIS WEEK.

IN context, tho, we hear this...fronts will protect the LA area , by bumping Larry to fla or mexico. Models bear this out too. See HURRICANEALLEY.NET, oops lower case that.
Not much left of the season and remaining storms will mostly be below a hundred mh.

Hey John.. That's a little rude to be calling Dixie out like that lol..

We shall wait and see what happens regarding any storms left in 2003.
