2015 Atlantic hurricane season montage

#1 Postby TheAustinMan » Mon Nov 30, 2015 11:10 pm

With November turning into December, the 2015 Atlantic hurricane season has officially ended with 11 named storms and 4 hurricanes. Below is a montage I created showcasing this season's tropical cyclones; all storms are hand-drawn. Once all tropical cyclone reports have been released, I may add tracks to this montage as I did with the 2014 Atlantic hurricane season.

How did the pre-season poll we had end up in the end? I know I underestimated as I forecast a practically dead season, not a slightly below average season.

Not surprising that the Caribbean was dead almost the entire season. That area of the basin has been quite unfavorable the last few years.

While this Atlantic season was quiet like the last two years, it still pulled a few surprises. Fred became a hurricane right off Africa and Joaquin unexpectedly almost became a cat 5.

Any idea where the topic is located? I'm been searching around for it and I can't seem to find it to see how I did.
