Low Pressure South of Tehuantepec (Is Invest 93E)

#1 Postby hurricanes1234 » Sat Sep 28, 2013 7:02 pm

This is the area which the models has been lowering but still developing somewhat over the past day or so. What do you think it will peak as, if it does form?

2. A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED A COUPLE HUNDRED MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE GULF OF TEHUANTEPEC IS PRODUCING DISORGANIZED SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY. SOME GRADUAL DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS AS IT MOVES WESTWARD AT AROUND 10 MPH. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...NEAR 0 PERCENT... OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AND A LOW CHANCE...20 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 5 DAYS.

Re: Low Pressure South of Tehuantepec 0%/20%

This will most likely end up becoming nothing like 92E, a hopeless low pressure area with barely any convection, in the face of increasing wind shear. It is hardly believable that this is the same area which was forecasted to become a Category 2. Identical pattern since day one of this year.

2. A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED A COUPLE OF HUNDRED MILES
SOUTHWEST OF THE GULF OF TEHUANTEPEC IS PRODUCING LIMITED SHOWER
ACTIVITY. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS DO NOT APPEAR CONDUCIVE FOR
DEVELOPMENT OF THIS DISTURBANCE WHILE IT MOVES WESTWARD AT 5 TO 10
MPH.
THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...NEAR 0 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A
TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AND A LOW CHANCE...10
PERCENT
...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 5 DAYS.
