The Saharan dust also made it to central FL today, with reduced visibility this afternoon. Very hot day.

I'll bet the night was a bit warmer than usual too, right? (The haze attenuates radiation cooling.)

Yep. We're having lows here in the 82-84 degree range but that may be the strong onshore flow.

i was going to give you the first landfalling florida system but that would be mean to do to a fellow south floridain, will send the big mean hurricanes over to our texas friends
