Tropical wave in the Florida Straits

The Nam wants make this a TD as it nears the Mexician coast in a few days. :roll:

Just something to check on in a day or two. Big time shear over it right now.

There is a large area of low pressure in the eastern GOM right now. Buoy 42003 at 26.04N 85.61W is reporting 1013mb. No signs of organization yet.
