Area of convection north of Honduras
just to the north of the Gulf of Honduras. I realize that it probably won't amount to much but wasn't there a model (Nogaps if I'm not mistaken) that showed an LLC form in the S. GOM from wave down there and drive in to Texas? Like I said, probably won't amount to anything but it jumped out at me when I looked at the Sat Pics a few moments ago.

The "thing" that crazy NOGAPS had pummeling Texas? Perhaps NOGAPS was on to something indeed...

An upper trough axis currently in the NW Caribbean. No development expected in this region.
