Last day for 2010 Naming...as tommorrow we will be naming in 2011, and for all that dont know, here are the names (*=Name replacement):
Arlene
Bret
Cindy

Maria
Nate
Ophelia
Philippe
Rina*
Sean*

Don, Sean, and Whitney were some nice replacements, but as I said before, Katia and Rina were crap.

The chances of reaching greek names are increasing as the season rolls to the K name very soon before reaching September.

what's with the 3rd list? This was also the list used for the 2005 season which had a total of 28 storms.

Question...Although unlikely because if it were to happend it would be late in the season but yet anything is possible...what happends if it greek alphabet storm was very powerful and they wanted to retire it..would would happend the next time we would hit the greek alphabet for storms?

That is still undetermined. I believe the current rule is the name will not be retired no matter what, but that may change if the circumstances dictate. It would likely only be truly retired if it is a really, really bad storm like Katrina, Andrew, Camille or Mitch.
