What would become the 1995 encarnation of Hurricane Felix began to take shape. Althought it wasn't extremely eventful, its slow movement, stalls and loop, made for consistent large waves for the surfers for the better part of 10 days here in East Central Florida and I am sure in many other locations up along the east coast as well. After it's final departure a sign outside of an Indialantic Surfshop simply read........"Thank you Felix, The Wave Machine !" Unfortunately, Luis and Marilyn weren't too far behind....taking a heavy toll on our friends in the Eastern Caribbean.

Thanks to you for posting :).
You're RIGHT concerning these two canes. 1995 was really a nightmare for the Leewards especially Guadeloupe with this too much dynamiq duel Luis and Marylin (should we add Iris in August hitting my island of Guadeloupe near St François with strong TS winds!), very bad year for us :(.
Let's hope this year that nothing bad occurs in the Eastern Caribbean Island.
