Wow, hard to believe it has been 35 years. I was a kid and I remember the storm generating some interest here in East Central Florida, although fortunately for us it did nothing except provide some good swell for the surfers. But because it caught the attention of tv stations and residents here in the area, my mom began to tell me about her experiences with Donna and Cleo which is all it took to get me interested in hurricanes.
