TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
530 AM EDT MON AUG 25 2003

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

A WELL-ORGANIZED TROPICAL WAVE IS MOVING WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH ACROSS THE LESSER ANTILLES AND THE EXTREME EASTERN CARIBBEAN SEA. THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY HAS INCREASED THIS MORNING AND SOME ADDITIONAL ORGANIZATION OF THIS SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE OVER
THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

A LARGE WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE...ACCOMPANIED BY A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE...IS LOCATED ABOUT 1800 MILES EAST OF THE LESSER ANTILLES. THE SYSTEM HAS BECOME SLIGHTLY BETTER ORGANIZED OVERNIGHT ...BUT ANY FURTHER DEVELOPMENT SHOULD BE SLOW TO OCCUR.

ANOTHER LARGE TROPICAL WAVE HAS EMERGED OFF THE COAST OF AFRICA AND IS LOCATED ABOUT 325 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR SOME DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS IT MOVES WESTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
TUESDAY.

What ever this may become is tracked into the southeast Bahamas in a few days moving WNW by the GFS. Also has this one crossing Haiti, the storm killer :o . That and Avila

FYI the same TWO and TWD are available at Storm2k's Weather Central in the tropical sections. No need to post them here too. Just a heads up for those who don't know. :D :D :D
