One of the biggest issues with this forum and the main reason I stopped posting much here is the constant 2-3 word posts on wobbles and model changes. For example "the 06z GFDL is interesting", OK great. A useful post would be: In contrast to the 00Z and 12Z GFDL the latest 06Z run shows a more northward track and now makes storm X a hurricane in 24 hours and a major hurricane in 72 hours." One post is useless and the other is usefull.

I never have gotten the useless 2-3 word posts except maybe those posters want a bigger post number.

I feel your pain jeff, but also miss seeing you post, especially when a system is threatening the Gulf Coast. One possibility is that you could add repeat offenders to your Foes list so you would never see posts from them anymore. Of course, that would require you to first muddle thru the muck to filter out who you don't care to read.
