Question-- High Pressure and the Westward Track
My local met said that the high pressure over the central states that is preventing the storm from making a northern turn is forecasted to move to the west, thus keeping Erika on a more or less straight westward track. He said, however, that the high hasn't made that move yet and they would be keeping an eye on it overnight. Anyone here know when this high is forecasted to head west? And what would it mean track-wise if it didn't move? Or the move is delayed? This is all, of course, assuming he knows what he is talking about in the first place!!
