#1 Postby OuterBanker » Mon Jun 21, 2010 12:09 pm

New today with final numbers.

His public release, not pro site.

I guess everyone is saying look out (except the one based on solar cycles).

Am I not getting this correct? He says 18-21 storms but only 5-6 hurricanes? And he says most of the activity will take place Aug. 15-Oct. 15. One word: duh.

Why?

I agree that years like this will see many depressions and storms.

He says that there will be 5-6 hurricanes that will make landfall, with 2-3 being majors making landfall.

So his hurricane numbers will be probably decently higher then 5-6, I'd imagine he is going for something between 10-12 probably...

I think he has gone too high with these new numbers, and I think his old range will probably be closer to the mark then this. I also don't think July will be quite as active as he thinks, as he is going for 4 storms in July.

I like JB personally but he reminds me of a used car salesman sometimes. Then again gotta get people to sign for the exclusive Accuweather services so ya can get paid.
