I've been following the blob that was 93L since yesterday. Here are the current and forecasted conditions as has been reported:
1) No shear to speak of
2) Super hot water all the way to where ever it winds up going
3) Steering towards the GoM
4) Moisture rich environment
So, what in the world could stop it from becoming a monster?
There is only one option when considering the above conditions it has in favor of it over the next week, and that is landfall. This system must track into the Yucatan, or hit Cuba's mountains and linger a bit. And even then....
