The longer range models certainly are interesting, whilst it is still very far east given what we've seen with 92L, we really aren't that far away from being able to support a TC, so we already are probably at the time of year where waves are going to need to be watched pretty closely.

Once again reminds me of Hurricane 2 of 1933...

As far as I am concerned, this wave has just about no chance of development. Main reason is that the shear that ripped apart 92L looks like it will be around for this wave as well (and perhaps even stronger and more widespread across the MDR) when I look at long-range shear forecasts from the various global models. June just is not a favorable month for Cape Verde systems no matter how active the season is expected to be (or how active you want it to be, this goes out to Ivanhater).

Your more than welcome to private message me with those comments if you have something that you want to say, otherwise leave those personal comments out of it..thanks . Just saying 8-) btw are we not on this site to see storms develop? lol I mean I know we are not on here to make sure every blob gets crushed.

Also do we have to have the same conversation every year, gezz!

edit to say: what an active June so far, cant remember a time this early the waters of the gulf were so warm or, a likely tropical depression so early in the far atlantic...what a season so far!

The waves certainly have been very active, just the fact we came probably fairly close to actually getting a June depression well into the MDR zone shows how favourable conditions are out there, but the shear is still about clearly...

Wow, strainhoutx, thanks for that picture. I've never seen that circumferential global train or Loop.

June certainly has had a way about her in the Atlantic...
