Hello.

Here is today's updated GOES East Infrared Hurricane Sector animation current through 6/16/2010 0945 UTC.

How about 92L, huh? But it still is in a bad area for development.

I love the long loops, thanks. It's great to see the day to day progression.

What do I use to capture every single image?

It's a trade secret.

But it is alot of work. I'm glad you enjoyed it as it is a labor of love.

I intend on being here...but when a hurricane is making landfall, I may not be able to do a daily update to the animation as I will be streaming a live hurricane webcam at http://7674u.com (This website has several different URLs, but I use this one as it will be my "call-out" when I'm being interviewed on network television when I'm out in the eyewall.

Haha fair enough, its just I remember there was a way or some sort of program that sort of automatically save images from the web, but that was a very long time ago that I looked into that!

It's a program probably but I haven't found much that can automatically save the images. I know creating a program to do it isn't that difficult if your a mature programmer.
