JTWC Best Track Archive 2009

JTWC updated their best track archives to include the 2009 WPAC season, the 2009 NIO season, and the southern hemisphere 2008-09 season.

Here's some changes for some storms between their operational peak intesities and their best track peak intensities.

The winds are all 1-minute sustained.

WPAC:
Typhoon Kujira: Peak held at 115KT.
Typhoon Chan-Hom: Peak intensity increased from 85KT to 90KT.
Typhoon Linfa: Peak held at 75KT.
T.S. Nangka: Peak held at 45KT.
T.S. Soudelor: Peak held at 35KT.
Typhoon Molave: Peak held at 65KT.
T.S. Goni: Peak held at 45KT.
Typhoon Morakot: Peak lowered from 85KT Category 2 to 80KT Category 1.
T.S. Etau: Peak increased from 35KT to 40KT.
Typhoon Vamco: Peak increased from 115KT to 120KT.
Typhoon Krovanh: Peak increased from 60KT T.S. to 65KT typhoon.
T.S. Dujuan: Peaked increased from 35KT to 50KT.
T.D. Mujiga: Peak held at 30KT.
Super Typhoon Choi-Wan: Peak held at 140KT.
Typhoon Koppu: Peak raised from 70KT to 75KT.
Typhoon Ketsana: Peak held at 90KT.
Super Typhoon Parma: Peak raised from 130KT to 135KT.
Super Typhoon Melor: Peak raised from 145KT to 150KT.
T.S. Nepartak: Peak held at 55KT.
Super Typhoon Lupit: Peak increased from 135KT Category 4 to 140KT Category 5.
Typhoon Mirinae: Peak held at 90KT.
Super Typhoon Nida: Peak lowered from 160KT to 155KT.

T.S. Bijli: Peak held at 50KT.
Cyclone Aila: Peak held at 65KT.
T.S. 3B: Peak increased from 35KT to 40KT.
T.S. Phyan: Peak held at 50KT.
T.S. Ward: Peak lowered from 50KT to 45KT.

The SIO:
T.S. Asma: Peak lowered from 55KT to 50KT.
T.S. Bernard: Peak increased from 25KT depression to 40KT storm.
T.S. Cinda: Peak held at 55KT.
T.S. Dongo: Peak held at 55KT.
T.S. Eric: Peak increased from 35KT to 40KT.
Cyclone Fanele: Peak increased from 100KT Category 3 to 115KT Category 4.
Cyclone Gael: Peak held at 120KT.
Cyclone Hina: Peak increased from 60KT storm to 65KT Category 1 cyclone.
Cyclone Izilda: Peak held at 65KT.
Cyclone Jade: Peak held at 65KT.

T.S. Dominic: Peak held at 50KT.
T.S. Ellie: Peak lowered from 40KT to 35KT.
T.S. Freddy: Peak held at 55KT.
T.S. Gabrielle: Peak held at 35KT.
Cyclone Hamish: Peak increased from 130KT to 135KT.
Cyclone Ilsa: Peak held at 100KT.
T.S. Jasper: Peak held at 45KT.
T.S. Kirrily: Peak increased from 40KT to 45KT.

The SPAC:
T.S. Hettie: Peak held at 35KT.
T.S. Innis: Peak increased from 35KT to 40KT.
T.S. Joni: Peak held at 55KT.
