Area of moderate/strong convection near the 47W

#1 Postby Gustywind » Sat Oct 24, 2009 5:34 am

Hi my friends :). Just an observation this morning... I was just looking at the sat pics this morning and my untrained eyes of amateur have just pinpointed an area of moderate strong convection neat the 47W. Conditions should not be favorable for this area given the upper level winds, but let's wait and see what could happen with this little blob.

It's already been ripped apart by shear. Those Meteo France images you post are typically 4-5 hours old when they're available to the general public.
