Which will be first TS Ana or Invest 90L for big wave?
This is a quick poll as things may happen in a few hours about what will occur first,or TD 2 becomes Ana or Invest 90L is up for big wave off African Coast. I added two more options TD 2 dissipates and no invest 90L for African wave.As soon something happens, one way or another the poll closes.
I say 90L will be up first.
I say 90L will be up first.

Hard to say. But I think it's more likely TD 2 will be upgraded this afternoon than that other wave becoming invest this afternoon. I don't think there is center defined enough for them to start running models on today.

Large wave emerging off Africa coast more likely to become first named storm (Ana). I think TD2 likely to fizzle. If it (TD2) stays weak, and thus on a more southerly route, it may have a chance to develop further down the line. Nonetheless, the impressive wave of the west African coast will become Ana.

I think 90L will be designated first. It's a hell of a wave and the models have been pretty consistent in turning it into something unfriendly. Shear and dry air are preventing TD2 from becoming more organized and it doesn't look like that will change in the immediate future, so I'm not expecting it to become Ana before 90L is designated

Well TD 2's degraded appearance recent satellite imagery and medium chances NHC just gave to the wave, is making me rethink this. Although, I personaly believe Microvwave pass at 1530z, Ana may have been a TS late this morning.

Until its official that Ana is classified at 5 PM the poll will remain open. There is still a chance that before 5 PM invest 90L goes up.
