I hope and pray for a quiet season..

#1 Postby tgenius » Mon Mar 30, 2009 12:11 pm

It's basically April 1, so we are 2 months from the start of the season. The economy is in the tank, the insurance companies are in a state of flux, with State Farm even going so far as to pull out of the state.

Pray we have a quiet season. :(

Could not possibly agree more, if a Katrina/Ike/Andrew type storm hit during this economic crisis.... I don't even wanna think about it.

I couldn't agree more! I think we're all feeling the same about this.

Yeah I don't think anyone wants an active landfalling season, I do want an active season but with as many of the systems out to sea as is possible, anything like 04/05/08 would not be good.

I'm probably not going to be here for any canes this year because I'm moving to New Jersey over the summer, but I still wish this to be a quiet season for the sake of Hatians and other people affected by last years storms.

I wouldn't say your totally out of the woods "captain". Moving to Jersey could be the next target this year.

Speaking of predictions. Anyone want to take a guess on Dr. Gray's team forecast on April 7. I say 15/9/3.
