Final Jeopardy! answer today

#1 Postby RL3AO » Thu Feb 12, 2009 6:02 pm

Note: If mods think this should be somewhere else, please move.

Category: International relations
Answer: The US Air Force's C-130J "Hurricane Hunters" are the only US military aircraft allowed in this country's air space.

I was screaming at the TV "Cuba"! (Or I guess I should say "What is Cuba?")

The three players answers were North Korea, Iran, and China...doh!

I can't believe at least one of them didn't know the answer. Admittedly I am a weather freak, etc. but to me that seems like an obvious answer to a supposedly well educated person by deductive reasoning.

I wonder if the Hurricane Hunters are required to obtain the "Cuba Overflight Permit" prior to each mission?

Man, I wished I would have watched that episode. I don't get many final jeopardy questions right, but I would have nailed that one. :D

Absolutely YES.... and Cuba still has the right to deny overflight at a moments notice.

All three of them should be executed, their stupidity is a danger to the public.
