Nope - just a low-latitude wave. I didn't check the upper winds or WV loop, but the blow-off up top is indicating a bit of wind shear in the area.

It appears that are tropical upper low, is forming some convection over the center so we will have to wait in see. :)

It's a little low in Latitude but the wind shear doesn't look like a problem. Starting to change shape from linear to more oval.
