We had contacted NASA (actually Goddard Space Flight Center) about creating a satellite movie of the entire 2008 season, as they had done in the video "27 Storms - Arlene to Zeta" back in 2005. They thought it was a good idea, so they put one together for 2008. Here's the link. It's a large file, about 255MB for the MPEG-4 movie. Worth the download. Too bad it doesn't identify the storms as they develop or show the storm tracks as they move. But it's pretty good, anyway.

This movie is amazing. I had previously seen the "27 Storms" presentation and enjoyed it. Thanks for asking them to produce the 2008 season.
Unfortunately, the early stages of Bertha and some of Ike are not in frame. Would you happen to know where one could find video of that?

I don't know of any animation of Bertha's earlier stages. I did save a number of early images of Bertha. Here's one indicating the trof out in advance of Bertha that I proposed would keep Bertha from affecting the Caribbean or U.S.:
