The truth is simple

#1 Postby cycloneye » Wed Jul 09, 2003 9:19 am

What is going on is simple to see about Claudette. If shear continues then it's over for claudette and opens up into a wave and all what the models are saying is thrown out by the window.

But if shear relaxes and Claudette can get it's act together again as it was yesterday then it may be the first hurricane of the season and threat someplace in the GOM down the road.

So guys let's wait and see what will happen today with Claudette and then we will know what of the 2 routes it will take dissipation or a full blown hurricane.

Excellent point, Luis. Even if Claudette isn't an open wave for that long of a time, if at all... things may become more interesting with future forecast tracks when she is once again developing.
