Enough is enough...
Let me start with this disclaimer... I know we're all weather enthusiasts, and I love hearing everyones opinion...
But..
This fear mongering, end of the world stuff has to stop. Perfectly good, educational threads are being overrun with uneducated people throwing out useless forecasts about how it's going here, and it's going there, and it's relocated here, and it's sheared, and this and that.... This storm is most likely going to impact the US, and where it does, there will be people that sustain personal loss, and injuries. Happens every time.
Please, Please... Stop with the useless posts in the good threads. Makes it hard to read, and more than that, overloads an already taxed server that hosts this great site.
Floridians, be on the lookout, but please don't act like you're the only state that could be impacted. I understand you have had your share, or even more than, of storms these last years. Be safe, and keep a watchful eye.
Learn from the pro-mets, and keep the one sentence posts to a minimum. If you've noticed, I'm sure it's this exact issue, that's keeping the pro's from posting comments, and idea's...

Some people have already received this mini-vacation, so we do mean it.

I also see "some" improvement.
I also see some -removed- still lingering, not by many, but very obvious by others. (i find it annoying)
When a poster states something stating that a storm(Ernesto) may NOT hit another poster's particular area, they go bizerk.
BB---shakes her head.
Thank you mods for the efforts you always put forth to clean things up and keep them on the right track.

SCMedic, Thanks for pointing that out. I am new to this board and I was getting the impression that we were supposed to toss out repetative forecasts based on whatever. I think the pro-mets area is great for that. I also like to leave the forecasting to them. I really have very little knowledge when it comes to weather. I will ask them for that. My favorite section is preparedness. And then, recovery and aftermath. As for where a storm goes, I will leave that to people smarter than I.
