Trend of models?

#1 Postby jinftl » Sat Aug 26, 2006 2:31 pm

I understand it is way to soon to be predicting any potential U.S. landfalls for Ernesto, but I am curious if anyone can see any noticeable shifts or trends in the models...i.e., shift to a more northerly turn early on, trend towards the eastern gulf vs. central, etc?

Thanks for your feedback....this site is truly a valuable resource to have available!

Today we've noticed a more easterly trend, but over the next 5 days we'll probably see another westward shift, than an eastward shift, then another westward one... etc. Anywhere from Texas to the Florida Panhandle is still in the running.

thanks...it would seem with the margin of error this far out, anyone living near the gulf is fair game....it will be interesting to see if the easterly trend persists.
