I think easily up $1.00+ a gallon. I just want to get a fell of what everybody thinks... :eek:

Similar to post-Katrina levels. Except... higher. But the same type of jump.

Said 4 bucks plus, and Cat 3 Yesterday. I think 4 bucks was just negative thinking on my side, but it could happen. This is just what the sick Greedy beepers have been waiting for.

I don't think it will get as high as Katrina unless a major impact is made on NO or the Houston area.

Well, if it gets as high as katrina, that isnt much higher than it is now. We got to 3.00/gal right after Kat and now we're sitting around 2.83/gal.

I'm not at all concerned about the price. I'm concerned that we'll have shortages and I won't be able to drive at all. That's very very bad.

It will go higher than the Katrina prices, because the Alaskan oil pipeline is hurting right now. If this thing hits New Orleans or Houston, or even shuts down production for a few days, the price of gas could easily spike to $3.50 or $4.00 a gallon.

All of this in my amatuer opinion, of course.

Okay folks. This hype needs to cease, NOW. We have people here who are reading for information on the storm. This has not even hit the Gulf yet and this has started.
