After looking at the models, I'd say a track similar to Gilbert/Emily is more likely. GFS develops a gigantic 500mb ridge over the GOM which just strengthens througout the run. Doesn't matter if this becomes a Cat 5, the ridge is too strong.

Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE.. But I will also admit I honestly believe the storms gonna go to Mississippi..
