Just another bit of climatology information ... no tropical storm development has occurred in the Eastern Caribbean in June ... The furthest east where a system became a tropical storm in the Caribbean was 16ºN, 78.0ºW and that occurred June 24th, 1907...(first track plot) since the strong wave (remnants of T.D. #2) looks to be heading that way ...

The interaction of southamerica has to do also with the lack of developments in the eastern caribbean all the time not only in june.
